Inserts from the montage have included detailed images showing some images, focused on arun are black and white. This creates a unique and provides an enigma towards the audience.

More inserts have been added, along with text boxes with a black background to compliment the white Times New Roman typeface.

Step 2

For this stage, i have attached the main image of arun with a three inserts. Them being photographs of one member of the band holding a snooker cue, arun's hand in a conventional hand symbol of rock and arun's hand on top of the head of a guitar.

One of the band members, who i gave sunglasses along with a cue expresses the conventions of rock with the cool but social appearance. This was apart of my planning, along with the preparation for finding a suitable background and asking for a guitar from the school's music department.

i began my double page spread with an image of a guitar, using it as my background. The two different colours in the background merge together from the photoshop tool of the rubber to combine the two, the image and the background colour together.

Main double page spread flat plan idea

My main double page spread flat plan idea consists of the main image showing the house style from having the same subject on the front cover. This shows a ink and portrays an appealing affect. I also wanted to construct a montage of individual images of he band and rock associations, not rock instruments but rock jewllery, such as the the subject's (arun) rings and bracelet.

Other images, namely inserts were positioned using a canted angle provides the front cover with character and edge.

The skyline, including the masthead, anchor line and division lines were added.

I began my front cover with my main image. I then moulded other elements of the rock magazine around this image to attain a balanced and professional model.

Main front cover flat plan idea

Here is my main front cover flat plan where I have included my main image that I am likely to use. This flat pan consists of inserts, masthead, inserts, skylines, barcode, cover line, anchor line and button/ flash all positioned in a near final mock up for my front cover. However, certain elements could be altered, such as the layout of the main cover line, which can be moved above the main image, below the masthead.
